Hi, I’m Rebecca. I’m a wife, mommy, and endometriosis/adenomyosis/Pelvic Floor Dysfunction/Bell’s Palsy warrior.

I’m also an advocate for advanced excision surgery as the gold standard treatment for endometriosis, as it forever changed my life.

My posts include my personal journey of adapting after my life suddenly changed at age 19 when I went from being healthy one minute to battling illness the next. I talk about how I overcame endometriosis in 2010 with expert excision surgery, my medically challenging pregnancy, developing Bell’s Palsy, being diagnosed with adenomyosis and the resulting hysterectomy in December 2014, dealing with pelvic floor muscle dysfunction and traveling to see a pelvic floor physical therapist and everything in between.

My goal is to be sure that any information that I share is medically accurate and factual.
To that end, I typically only link to resources by reputable health sites.

The story of how I overcame endometriosis and adenomyosis can be found here –
